I was tagged by Marcia to write about 10 weird things about me.
- I am only 4 ft 11 inches. OK, OK actually 4 ft 10 1/2".
- Which gives me a size 5 shoe. I buy most of my shoes online because I can’t find many shoes of my size.
- I sing in the car, even when there are cars all around me. I sometimes sing as I walk as well.
- I have an overactive imagination and sometimes briefly see things that aren’t there. (I once tripped while trying to get over a twig, which was actually just part of the carpet design.)
- I seem to need more alone time than most people.
- I love painting my toenails with different designs.
- I tend to read 5-10 books at a time and read more than anyone I know.
- I have an alarm clock that wakes me up to seagulls and water. Now whenever I here seagulls in real life, I jump.
- I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was 27 and failed the driver’s test twice.
- My husband and I are both allergic to perfume, so I never where it.
What are your quirks?

Oh Beth, I LOVED your list.
I’m also a shorty pants but I’m taller than you are at 1.58m (I don’t know what that is, but I know it’s 5ft something) 🙂
I think I need to get one of your alarm clocks – it sounds gorgeous!!!
Oh, and I also never wear perfume – it makes me sneeze!
Beth,
I, too, am an avid reader. I have a book at work, one upstairs, one or two downstairs and a reader’s digest or magazines everywhere I might want to read. All my friends and family think I am nuts. I also listen to mysteries on CD in the car on my way back and forth to work. I never get the stories mixed up.
I am a shorty, 5’2″ and have such a terrible time finding slacks and sweats that fit.
Wanted to also let you know that I have been thinking about you and your family during your rough times since Jon died. Please know that there are many of us praying for you. Your strength is amazing. And thank you so much for the blessings you bring to us every day. You really make me remember all the little things I am thankful for.
God Bless You and yours.

Thanks Maggie, a kindred spirit.
