7 Reasons to Simplify Your Life

By

I just finished a series of reasons to simplify your life. Often people have vague ideas that simplifying their life will make them less stressed and happier. But, without specifics “simplifying” never reaches high on the priority list.

Reason #1: Sharing yourself and your gifts with the world

Reason #2: You are in too much debt

Reason #3: You have become overwhelmed

Reason #4: You are missing out on your relationships

Reason #5: Your things are crowding you out of your own life

Reason #6: Your health is being neglected

Reason #7: So you can have fun!

I don’t believe in creating a simpler life so we can sit there and do nothing (unless that is fun and purposeful for you.) I believe in creating a simpler life so we can do something – something fun, something meaningful, something with people, something alive.

What are your reasons for wanting to create a saner, simpler life?

I need a simpler life because I’m going through a period of depression and anxiety. I’m also trying to clean out my storage shed because I can’t afford to pay the high price for it anymore. So for my emotional health I need to simplify my life and reorganize and declutter my home.

    Hi Barbara,

I am so sorry you are going through this. Remember a little at a time.
