Are You A Product of Your Environment – Part 2

By

The last post showed you how to let your environment nurture you. Your environments can also help you create the kind of life you want to live.

Changing Habits

Do you want to be healthier? How could the way you set up your environment help you? You could clean out your pantry, set up an exercise area or set a beautiful table so you can savor your meals. You could have the fruit bowl on the kitchen table and the junk food out of the house.

Do you want to save money? You could set up a lovely bill paying center and play music while you pay bills. You can do an automatic savings plan or have your computer financial program pop up when you are close to your budget in an area.

I have a mug that make me happy on my desk to remind me to drink my water.

I clear my desk every evening so I can be more productive the next day.

What habit are you trying to change? How can you set up the environment to help you?

  1. I am trying to develop habit to go to bed early, at around 10 PM, so that I can wake up early. I have been waking up at 6 AM but I wanted to wake up at 5 AM so that I can get more things done in the quiet mornings.

    Thanks for the inspiration.
