I have seen this every election cycle and it seems to get worse each go around. People think the party in power in Washington is the source of their happiness and success. The president isn't God or even Santa Claus. The "right" person in Washington isn't going to solve your personal problems and the "wrong" person isn't going to make them worse. You are key to your own success and happiness. I wish I could add to your list, but I think you about covered it. I'm the first to admit last night didn't go quite how I would've liked. But I had a family to say "goodnight" to, I had clothes to wear this morning, and a good job I needed to report to at 8 AM. Yes, I have daily struggles, but I have had struggles of every magnitude over several presidential administrations. I've had even more joys in that time frame. Nice post.
