Do you think you will ever use the scraps you need to iron before using? If not, that is a great place to let go. Especially if you have a room full of scraps and fabric. A masking tape might be a quick way to label fabric you intend for a project so it doesn't get used - depending on the fabric. Sometimes the mess created by sewing one project and totally stifle the process of even thinking of another. I cant find what I need, where did x go? keep sliding on scraps of fabric, where is that pattern piece. However, organizing all the supplies is hard too. Who wants to iron all those scraps someone handed down to me? Where is that yard of fabric I need to work on this project? where did that yard of fabric go, I used on something else, when I needed it for this project.
