Whether I want to admit it or not, Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky holiday. And I heard about it all day. So this morning I decided this was going to be a fantastic Friday the 13th.
Here are some highlights of my day.
- Slept in a bit
- Had homemade waffles with strawberries for breakfast the my husband, Jeff, made the night before
- Chatted with my accountability partner which always puts me in a good mood
- Lifted a friend’s mood
- Watching DVR’d Burn Notice with my husband
- Played with our cat – he much prefers string to the mechanical cat toy we got him
- Took a walk
- Wrote and read
- Took a different route home from picking up the kids at school
- Had angel food cake with rasberries and whipped cream for a snack
It’s been a good day. How was yours?

Sounds wonderfully peaceful.
My day could be described by the line from T. S. Eliot “distracted by distractions from distractions.”
I watched Burn Notice too (watched it on their website) LOL
As for Friday the 13th, it has never been a day of “bad luck” for me, but then again I think you make your own luck!
Love what Clutter Collector said – you make your own luck
I also don’t “believe” in all the Friday 13th hype – I always think “what you focus on, you attract” so why attract all that negative stuff?
Anywayyyyy, getting back to your question, I had a good day
– I also enjoyed speaking to you – had so much energy that I crossed 2 things off my goals list for this upcoming week
– My carpets (from the burst geyser) were replaced on Friday and oh, it is HEAVEN to 1) have clean beautiful carpets again and 2) sink my bare feet into the softness………..
– the bathroom vanity was also replaced – I did a good declutter seeing as I had to repack it and there is SO MUCH SPACE. Amazing.
-vegged, vegged and vegged some more after quite a hectic week (for me)
Have a great week, Beth
P.S. One of my clients emailed me to say she had a fantastic day because she determined beforehand that it was going to be EXCELLENT!
