Love is life

“Love is life – if you miss love, you miss life.” – Leo Buscaglia

This sentiment has been thrown at me from all over lately. I needed to slow down and see if maybe I have been in too much of a hurry to connect with people. It’s the relationships that make a life, not how much we accomplish. I feel renewed having time over Thanksgiving to stop working and just talk and play. No agenda accept to reconnect.

I want to keep my eyes open this week, so see where I can forge better relationships. Check for opportunities to get to know someone better. And practice spontaneous chatting.

We got some connecting time yesterday at our town’s Christmas parade. My husband and son weren’t going to come to the parade to watch my daughter, but they surprised me while I was waiting for the parade to start.
