My Desk
ByI was tagged by Marcia from Take Charge and Ariane from Neat Living. The task – photograph our desks to show how we normally have our desks.
I am very visual so you will find notes taped to below my monitor, notecards attached to my action files and tons of things on my bulletin board/whiteboard. But, since they are all up somewhere, it allows me to keep a clean space on my desk.
This is 9am Monday morning:

Hi Beth! Thanks so much for “baring it all” and showing us your desk as you really use it! It’s nice to see someone has as much stuff as I do!

Hi Beth
Thanks for doing this. Wow – you’re definitely a visual person.
I am reading an excellent e-book at the moment by Suzanne McLoone on your organising style. And I am a mix but definitely not as visual as I once thought.
I would be distracted by it all around me.
And I love the declutter calendar in prominent place – Yes!
Thanks Marcia. I actually organized the bulletin boards. After my time seminar, I will post the new pictures. By the end of the week, the rest of my office should be revamped.
I am visual, but do not like stuff stuck all around me. I am trying to make better use of Outlook. I have been reading “Getting Things Done” by David Allen, and he is a big fan of Outlook, or anything that will utilize the computer rather than sticky notes. Right now I have 2 on my computer, one being to retrain myself and dh to minimize or close by right clicking instead of using the big red X up in the corner of the program, etc., especially Outlook.
Great tip Lois. I actually took quite a bit down so it has less there. I use HiTask for my to do’s, there is also a program called simple GTD which is faster and easier to use then Outlook. But, not as powerful. My reminders are more “thought reminders” not to do minders
