Not buying new
ByAriane from Neat Living discovered a site where the members are attempting to not buy anything new for a year:

Instead they barter, buy used, or borrow. I can imagine the impactﾃつ from just this oneﾃつ group on their wallets and the environment.
While I don’t think I could do it at this point in time, I think just asking ourselves the question, “Do I really need to buy this new?” is a great one. With lists like freecycle.orgﾃつ it is easier than ever to get things used.

Hi, it’s dori from the old days! How are you? I was just looking at your coaching site that I’d found a while ago and saw you started a blog! I’m thinking of starting one too but just haven’t gotten around to it it. I’ll look forward to reading here.
I’m back to working at home again after being a total sahm from Jan. 04 until Jan. 06. We moved too.

actually, if you have time I would love your input on my blog/site ideas. You helped me SO Much with the old sites back in 97/98 – I’ll never forgot it!! It’s still up actually – http://www.geocities.com/dorifam – I’ve not updated it much since 02 when little Ryan came around. Then I started my http://www.criscollrj.com in approximately 03 and went gangbusters for a while but lately have gotten very lazy with it and keep updating at the top. I feel like changing the whole thing over to a blog but realy don’t even know how or have the time. I have the idea of making a chat room or forum for parents with disabled children, etc., but just haven’t resesarched it at a all. I don’t have a lot of bandwidth right now on my plan so not really sure how much I can do without taking down a lot of my site (the http://www.criscollrj.com site).
I’ll appreciate any advice you have, but there’s no rush!
Canyou believe I still have that cleaning page – one version on the old site an done on the new (I was too lazy to do tables on the new one ha ha!) You helped with the table on the old one!
