Not to Do List
ByWhen the to do list gets too long and burdensome, it might be fun to create a not to do list.
For example:
I am not going to…
- Feel guilty constantly
- Plan every minute of my day
- Work straight through without breaks
- Sweep every day
- Drive things to school that my kids forget
- Let magazines dictate how I will look and live
- Watch TV more than 2 hours in a day
What are you not going to do?

I love this post! I’ve been following your blog for a while now and while I’ve loved each post you make, this one really made me think.
I’m not going to…
- stress out about things at work which I have no control over.
- spend hours surfing the web looking for craft ideas, I have enough already
- feel guilty that I chose to not have children
I love your blogs too!
I’m not going to:
Eat fast food.
Ignore details to go faster at work.
Complain.
i will not procrastinate.
Great idea, Beth!
I’m not going to:
* keep stressing over a relationship that’s no longer working for me
* let other people’s disorganization-induced stress cause stress for me too
* keep making excuses for not exercising and dieting so I can have the body I want
* feel guilty for doing nothing, if that’s what I feel like doing
I’m not going to ever make another list! (lie)
I’ve been so busy lately, I’ve not been reading your posts and have been feeling guilty about it. But TODAY I decided to get back to you and what a marvelous post. Now I don’t feel guilty about it. I’m here right on time!
Thank you so much for this post.
I’m not going to…
worry about things that are beyond my control
feel guilty about not having a spotless house
worry about everything I eat
I am not going to:
Stress over things at work that I have no control over.
Stay late at work every evening now that it is light outside after 5 pm
Play my DS instead of cleaning up the kitchen – EVERY NIGHT.
And finally,
Put off making my grandchildren’s quilts any longer.
