Spending Fast – Day 12

Today I didn’t travel anywhere, so no spending. I did give the teens their allowances.
I found a post on Areas to Cut Spending that was part of a survey that might be helpful.
Having a spending fast could make you go into poverty thinking. "I don’t have enough money, so I am not going to spend any money."
I like to think of it as, "I have so much, there is almost nothing I really need to buy."

Thanks for stopping by SAHM Ramblings during your Blog Party trip! I know what you mean about not qualifying for the surveys and not being the right demographic. I did a 45 minute $10 survey once. Watch a 30 minute show then 15 minutes of survey. After 45 minutes invested, it told me I DQ’d!!! Grrr!
We also started allowances recently for our little girls. I started using the ActiveAllowance site and it helped us create worksheets for the girls. Hopefully we’ll have good chore routines by the time they hit their teens!
