Spending Fast – Day 13
ByI was putting a book onto my Amazon wish list. I saw all those books I want to read. And then there is the gold box. I had to click and just see.
"Wait" I told myself, "Click off the page. You can do it."
I made it without buying anything.
To remember my abundance I even gave away a whole stack of books I haven’t read in years.

You are doing so great with your spending fast. I have to laugh though, I read this post RIGHT after ordering 2 books from Amazon

I am trying to live with what I have. I have just picked up at least 100 books and given them away. I can get books at the library when I am ready to read them and they don’t take up space. You are helping me not spend and get rid of some clutter. Thanks!
Great job Audrey!
I’m glad I was able to make you more conscious of your Amazon purchase. Knowledge is the first step
You do know there’s a free and frugal way to get the books you want to read, right? I’m sure you’ve heard about the Paperback Swap web site. I recently discovered it’s not just for paperbacks, but hardcover, fiction, non-fiction, bestsellers, cookbooks, audio books and more. C’mon over to my web site and read more about it. It’s a great way to get rid of books you don’t want and exchange them for books you do want. They have a sister site for DVD’s as well! Great http://joanoh2.blogspot.com/2008/05/decluttering-books.html Hope you don’t mind the link, but if anyone signs up thru my site I get one more free book. LOL Ever-frugal!
