Speaking of shoes, I’ve had my eye on a pair of red shoes for several months. The store now has a 20% markdown, so if they’re still there after the spending fast is over, I may go get them. They would go nicely with the new summer dress I got on sale back in March – that I still haven’t worn!

This past week went pretty well. We had a guest preacher on three evenings, and I put something in the offering on two evenings. I was thankful that someone had paid back a small debt, so I had the cash to put in the basket.

Lunch was Subway on two days – I just didn’t have time to prepare my lunch like I’ve been doing, but Subway is a pretty cheap alternative.

I postponed a trip to the garage till next week. In spite of the fast, cash flow at the end of the month is tight and will be till I’ve caught up from the balloon payment for my car that came due in April.

But you’ve done well all this time, so I know you’ll get back on track!
