The Simple Woman’s Daybook
ByI love peeking into the lives of other people. The Simple Woman shares other people’s daybooks, like my day below. It helps to remember the simple joys of daily living. You can join us too.
FOR TODAY
Outside my window…sunshine, two trees are flowering
I am thinking…different parenting methods for my 15 year old son
I am thankful for…serving communion for the first time on Sunday, a great discussion with friend’s last night
From the kitchen…Rice Krispies Treats
I am creating…an atmosphere of peace and joy
I am going…to be productive today
I am wearing…red bandana skirt, white button down shirt, red dangly earrings
I am reading…The ZooKeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman
I am hoping…my 13 year old daughter has fun in Mackinac with her class this week
I am hearing…the cat jingle jangling
Around the house…piano bench needs to be cleaned off, my son and I did a ton of dishes yesterday after a weekend of cooking
One of my favorite things…taking hikes in the woods
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…a new Bible study, a friend’s birthday to celebrate, a Kid’s Hope party at Crazy Bounce and the nature center on Sat
Here is a picture thought I am sharing for you…
to be able to rest like a cat…
(Thomas, our cat)

Enjoyed your Daybook and the cat pic!
Thats a really cute idea. I enjoyed the daybook. I’ll have to try it sometime.
I hope you enjoyed Mommyfest and look forward to seeing you around!
The Zookeeper’s Daughter: let us know how you like it. I have a cat too, right now he is hiding under the covers on my bed because the exterminator was here and Smokey dislikes strangers.
Mama Bear
Thanks all! So far I really like the Zookeeper’s Daughter. Our cat doesn’t like strangers either – especially when the kids have their friend’s over.
I enjoyed reading your daybook. I hope your week is perfect!
