People First
ByYesterday evening my 16 year old came home saying his tire came off his bike and he landed headfirst on the ground. His friend who was with him said he blacked out for 3 minutes.
I had other things I was supposed to do that evening. But, it all went out the window so I could spend 2 1/2 hours at urgent care with my son. His concussion is just mild and thankfully he will be fine.
Incidences like this sharply bring into focus what is important in your life. Take a look at your to do list. Just for today, how about doing the to do’s that have to do with other people first. The phone calls, letters, cards and the getting together with others.
You know what is important to you. Does your to do list reflect that?

What a shock that must have been! He’s lucky that he wasn’t hurt badly. Did you find out why the tire came off? I ride my bike year round and I’m afraid that something like that will happen.
I think it happened because he just got a new tire. It must not have been put on correctly. But, he was wearing a helmet which made it not as serious. Yea!
praising God that he is ok now and that he has a mom who is willing to be there for him in times of need–
