Often people have all these things they want to do because then they will feel "achievement" or "happy" or "loved". These goals are usually in the future. But, in many cases you can feel that way right now.
What would it take for you to feel healthy today? Would you have to be at your perfect weight with no health problems? What if you decided you could feel healthy by taking a walk, or eating one more fruit today?
You can decide you can feel loved by being loving. You don’t have to find the perfect mate or have the perfect relationship. Every time you show love to someone you would feel loved.
Many people say that can’t have any peace because they have all these problems or life is too fast or they have too much to do. But, we’ve all known people going through tragedy or just overly busy who seem at peace anyway. They have decided that whatever happens is for the best and they stay in that peace.
Research has shown that appreciating, remembering you have choices and helping others makes you feel happy. You don’t have to wait for a new job, a new car, or a new life. You can be happy now.
So much of what we feel comes from what we are thinking. And we can change that.
