Duane Elgin, author of Voluntary Simplicity describes Simple Living as:
simple and inwardly rich.
This is a wonderful description. Less running around, clutter and busy work leads to more time in spiritual time, relationships, discovering your dreams or in nature. A fulfilling life rather than a life that continually drains you.
What can you do less of so you can be inwardly rich?

Beth,
Please do another declutter calendar. I have the last three years and tried to do what was on each of them on the date but fell behind. What I did find was that I did more than I thought. If I don’t get everything done, it really jogs me to work at decluttering even a little.
Would love for you to address decluttering books. I just can’t toss them until I have read them but working full time with a family cuts into the reading time. I do give away everyone I read but don’t seem to be making much headway. I need to stop going to the library sales. 🙂
Thank you for your calming blog.
