My daughter and I were taking a walk on a country road the other day. All of the sudden she says, “Stop! Just listen.” So, we stood quietly and listened to the chorus of cicadas, crickets and frogs. And looking around, everything seemed more colorful and alive just by standing still. I am blessed with a daughter that makes sure I stop once in awhile and just listen.
