This past Friday my husband had off work so he whisked me away from the computer. He knew I had been having a hard time this week with our teenage son, so I was able to take a break. We walked along the beach, went for a hike, ate lunch at a restaurant, and made brownies before the kids got home from school.

And when we got home there were 2 dozen roses from him on the doorstep.

I am so thankful I have someone who looks out for the needs of others.
