As we think about what we want for this coming year, let’s also remember that most of what we want are bonuses to an already good life.

For many of us we already have families, homes, work, the sights of nature, the movement of our bodies, the sounds of music, the taste of chocolate.

We don’t need to do more, get better, or improve anything to be happy. We can be thankful and content right now.

Thanks, all! I’m still in the process of trinyg to organize everything, especially my scraps. Right now I have most of the ones that I’m keeping in 12Q plastic bins, sorted by color. I’m going to put a basket on my cutting table and toss the scraps in there as I work. Once a week or so (or as needed), I’m going to arrange them by color and put them in the 12Q bins. Since those bins are a little tough to get to in my studio, I don’t want to be pulling them out all the time, but once a week or so shouldn’t be a problem. At least I hope not! I’ll keep you posted on the progress!
