French Toast girl writes about art being a survival tool for her:
It’s a few posts down. Art helped her with her depression. It lets her keep her sanity with 3 children under 3. She has to paint daily even if the laundry doesn’t get done.
Everyone has something like that. For me I need to read and journal to feel centered and sane. For someone else it may be sewing time, chatting with a friend, doing yoga, or getting outside.
What brings life to your day? What centers you and allows the tensions of the day to go? If you don’t have anything like this, what do you think might work for you that you could play with for a week?
