Reason #5: Your things are crowding you out of your own life
You will do anything not to go home. Even work late or take extra long shopping. But, eventually you make it home. You feel claustrophobic as soon as you step into the door.
Piles are on every flat surface of the house. You can’t fit everything into your clothes closet so when you pull out your cotton shirt it is always wrinkly. And how about finding stuff? How many places do you have to look on average to find what you need?
All the clutter is draining your energy and you feel like all you do is nag.
Simplifying your home will bring you space to move. We had a party here last week in which we brought a table upstairs. I have so many bruises from running into it. It doesn’t fit in the space. Definitely time to bring it back downstairs.
You will be able to think more clearly and feel more serene when you have less in your surroundings.
So how do you know when its time to simplify and declutter? If you have more stuff than you have room for in your current home – you have too much stuff. All the organizers in the world won’t help the situation if you don’t get rid of anything.
Reason #6: Your health is being neglected
