Thursday I didn’t spend any money. We went on a bike ride for fun.
Friday we went hiking. It was dinner time when we got done, so Jeff just wanted to go to the Taco Bell nearby instead of wait to get back home.
I bought a light jacket for my son who out grew his. But, walked away from any other clothes and earrings. I was tempted though!
Saturday Jeff and Jonathan went to my in-laws. My daughter had an infection from her ear piercing, so the doctor said to go to urgent care. Whenever we have to go to a doctor, etc. I try to make the best of it. I declared a mother-daughter day. So while we waited for her antibiotics we got a couple bars of Lindt chocolate. Then I took her to get an ic cappuccino chip, her favorite drink, at Panera Bread.
Afterwards, we did what I said I wouldn’t do this month – went to Barnes and Noble. I should know better. I ended up getting myself a book and Brea two books.
The rest of the evening was spent eating chocolate, chatting, watching her DVD of ‘High School Musical’ and doing her “Are you smarter than a 7th grader” quiz (I did a dismal 50%, I guess I need to bone up on bacteria and cat breeds.)
A little less than two weeks of the spending fast. It seems my biggest spending struggles are chocolate, dining out and books.
