One of the best ways to live your values is adding them to your to do list. In the book Your To Be List, they suggest adding a value next to your to do.
Pay bills – be abundant
Call customer service – be patient
Client call – be peaceful
You aren’t going to want too many different values. Just pick the ones from the values you picked in the What Values Do You Want in Your life question.
So when you call customer service you are reminded that you want to be patient. And the call gives you the chance to practice that value. And something that could seem to be a waste of time becomes a learning experience.
