- What will you stop doing?
- What will you get rid of to bring in the new?
- What boundaries will you set?
- What projects will you drop, even for a little while?

Thanks for the guidelines to consider for the New Year.
Hi Beth
Happy new year to you! I just came across your site and have downloaded the calendar for this year. I love the questions and am taking ten minutes now to go through them. I seem to pride myself on being productive, always striving towards the next project or goal and I realise I do not stop to feel good about my achievements, I’m always beating myself up for the bit I did wrong. I’m also finding my ‘stuff’ is becoming a burden to me. I’ve been decluttering for a couple of years but I’m not where I want to be. So my key themes for 2012 are ‘balance’ and ‘simplify’. This includes boundaries around work / life balance and some serious decluttering. Thanks for the inspiration and excellent resources on your site 🙂
Thank you Courtney for sharing the calendar for Google! It saves me the time of having to add all the tasks manually! I am looking forward to the class starting on January 23, 2012! What a great way to start the new year by decluttering my home!
Rae, I feel EXACTLY the same way! My mantra for the year is going to be “simplify”. In the past it has been “organize”, but I think that term is overwhelming. I believe that organization will be the result of simplifying. I am excited to begin the journey!
Beth, I am thrilled to have found your website. It is just what I was looking for. I love the daily tasks – they are so manageable. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight.
Happy New Year Beth. My word for 2012 is RENEWAL and I am very excited about the new year.
Thank you for your wonderful advice and all the very best to you and your family Beth.
I was thrilled to download your Clutter Calendar…I actually think I can do this (along with my other NY resolutions) and know I’ll feel like a new person. I look forward to a Simpler New Year and most importantly, a Simpler Life. Thank you for sharing your pearls of wisdom and inspiration!
Hey Janet! Here in sisterhood; glad my words spoke to you and I’m wishing you the ‘simplest’ and most fulfilling year! I love how you have seen simplifying as the opposite side of the coin to ‘organise’ – that’s so helpful and profound; I really get that 🙂
You can do it Shelly!
Thanks so much sweet Maree. Hope you renew this year. My word for the year is healing.
Happy to have you join us Janet!
We have a great group in the Declutter Group, Frances. Should make decluttering fun.
