Deadhead your life

I was deadheading my hanging flowers this morning. Taking off the shriveled flowers to make room for the new buds. I was thinking this is what we do in our lives too.

If we want new growth we need to get rid of what isn’t beautiful and helpful anymore. That could mean decluttering old papers to make room for new business. Or dropping out of a committee that you aren’t enthused about anymore, so someone with more enthusiasm can fill that spot and you have more time for what you are passionate about.

Clothes, projects or hobbies that were for a different you can be let go to make space for what is next in your life. Even if you don’t know what is next.

Think about your life right now. What can you let go of to make room for new opportunities and growth?
