Kati Mora is a registered dietitian with a background in general nutrition and weight management. As the co-owner of Around the Plate, Kati is excited to bring you relevant nutrition information that get’s you excited about living healthy and eating happy. Kati graduated with her BS in Dietetics from Central Michigan University in 2006 and then obtained her Master’s in Dietetics from Central in 2010. Kati is the proud mama of two little plates, Eli and Ben, who keep her busy and smiling… most of the time. You may also recognize Kati from her work as the Kellogg’s FiberPlus(R) Wellness Advocate and as a contributing author for Diets In Review 

KierstenKiersten Gelfand’s passion is helping others discover the life-changing effect of better fitness and wellness. It means so much to her to see the change in people’s lives: from the speed and determination of the way participants move to the touching change in their families! She holds certifications with: American Council of Exercise (ACE), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America,Turbo Kick™ , PiYo™ and look forward to the annual conferences and workshops that keep her perspective fresh.

Our goal is to break down the logistics of getting into the exercise, healthy eating and organizing habits.

More fun with friends

We aren’t going to have you make a fresh start alone. We want to surround you with support.

Each week, enjoy a motivating call with one or more of the experts. Ask your questions, learn new ideas and get pumped. 

You’ll also stay motivated with emails/videos/audios a few times a week.

You’ll have a group to check in with any time day or night. And we’ll set up accountability buddies for personal check ins.

We will give you cheering, kudos, and a kick in the pants when you ‘don’t wanna’.

Because it is a lot easier to get motivated if you are having fun.

Not effort free

This is not an effort free plan. You will have to do some work. But, it will be in small chunks, not overwhelming.

Warning: To see a pay off, the Fresh Start group will require a commitment. The more time you put into it, the better the results. But, even if you only have a few minutes a day, your home and your health will be better than it was the day before.
