Norman Vincent Peale

“Four things for success:Work and pray, think and believe.”

-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

I have been reading “Stay Alive All Your Life”, a book by Norman Vincent Peale. Originally it was published in 1957. He is best known for his bestseller “The Power of Positive Thinking.” No he doesn’t say think positive thoughts and you can have the world. He says start believing you can with God’s help if your goals are spiritually sound, have faith it will happen and work really hard. The book is chock full of stories of people getting out of the pit onto a path of success. Very inspiring.

“Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines our success or failure.” -Peale
