I love singing the Hallelujah Chorus Easter Sunday morning at church.

Much of our city here in Michigan has gone south for Spring Break. But, we stayed home this year to save money for my son going to Georgia for the National Robotics competition shortly.

I have found that there is a great connection between stress and speed. The faster I go the more stressed I become. However there are so many simple steps that I can do to slow down my life. I can choose to hang my clothes on a clothes drying rack out on the sunny patio than just throw another load into the dryer. I can choose to walk to the farmers market that is in my neighborhood rather than drive across town in the traffic to the big box grocery store. I can even choose to work on a jigsaw puzzle rather than read blogs off the internet. Everyone of these slower choices, at least for me, really do relieve stress.
