I haven’t done this before, but thought it would be fun to give away one spot in the Declutter Group which starts April 23.
You want a simple plan, that will integrate into your busy life and will solve your clutter problem.
So I have created the: 6-Week "Get a Handle on Your Clutter" Group. I love simplicity as most of you know, so I didn’t want this to be a complicated, time waster.
Instead I have laid out the plan step-by-step in an easy to use workbook.
With weekly chats in my chat room and message boards for daily challenges with one another you will get the support and encouragement you need to keep on going. You are definitely not the only one struggling with your home.
So how do you enter?
Just post below why you want to join the Declutter Group. Don’t worry it’s not going to be judged. *shudder*
I’ll be picking a name randomly with random.org. I will be choosing Friday and will email the winner.

UPDATE: And the winner is Roberta Nichols. Congratulations!

My hubby and I both keep too much stuff & create a LOT of clutter. We are discussing selling our house and absolutely have to get the clutter under control. It would also save us money because she spend a lot of time looking for things we can’t find and then buying new ones because of it. I would LOVE to win a spot in your group. Thanks for the opportunity.
I need to get a handle on my clutter!
I have a busy life! I have clutter! 🙂
thanks for offering up a spot for giveaway – what a nice idea 🙂
I’ve been slacking-off on decluttering & could use the accountability and support 🙂
Clutter is stressing me out! I see it taking over my house & my life! Enough!
I just flat out need help! I feel like the clutter is overtaking me, and I really want to be able to feel a sense of serenity when I walk through the doors of my home after a long day at work.
It is a moment full of challenges in my life, and I need a lot of support to make important changes, changes that will help me and my little daughter to get into a better track. Thanks for that opportunity Betty!
I need some peace and clarity!!! That sounds so divine!!! All 3 of us in my home are pack rats so it’s not pretty….
I long to have a clutter free closet, bedroom and home, but get so easily overwhelmed that I give up before even starting. I would love to join the declutter group to help me move forward with accountability and simple tasks to begin the process toward freedom!
Pick me, pick me! 🙂
I have an out of control house. I try to declutter, but I have health problems that flare up and stop me, so it’s difficult to stay motivated. I need outside encouragement!
I do hit-and-miss decluttering, and need to have more of a focused plan. Would love to be part of the group.
I am so happy and calm when my house is clean and picked up, but it never stays that way very long because my closets, cabinets, and other storage space is cluttered and unorganized. I’ve reached a point that I’m tired of “stuff,” and I need a plan to conquer and get rid of the things I don’t love, want, and/or need!
We are preparing to immigrate to New Zealand and have 2 households combined of clutter to sort, organise, decide what to pack and ship and what to donate before going so I need all the help I can get.
As I’m unemployed I simply cannot afford to pay so hope that I’ll be the winner!
I need to pack 30 years of married life!
My mother was/is very close to being a hoarder having grown up in wartime Europe. I have spent a great deal of my life fighting the urge to keep lots of stuff in case I “need” it some day. Through self discipline and having a very small house, I have learned to pare down but sometimes I really feel like I am doing this alone and would love some direction and encouragement.
I have a hard time keeping my house clean with all the clutter. A dirty, cluttered house creates so much stress for me, while a clean house is SO relaxing.
I’ve been decluttering, but reached a bit of a plateau. It looks likely I’ll have to move in a few months, so the encouragement and accountability of the class would really help!
I’m overwhelmed with the amount of clutter – mine, my 2 kids, paper – and would love a plan and support (pressure!) to do it and start summer clean and organized, with space in the basement where I’ve been tossing boxes & junk.
I would like to have a vision of what an organized home looks like. Perhaps others can help me develop a vision; that is the beginning to being organized, I believe. I HAVE made progress at de-cluttering, but could use a support group.
My husband and I have a home based buisness, we are here 24/7. working at home should be a blessing but to me it is a disaster. there is too much clutter! we sit at our desk all day and you would think i would have time to do dishes, dust, make beds etc. no, there is not… I need help and motivation desperatley
My “saving” things has been a thorn in our marriage my whole married life of 39 years. I am really tired of trying to get better only to have a health issue and get behind again. I got a liver transplant 15 years ago but recently have begun to have some shoulder issues and kidney disease from the transplant drugs. I fear that if I don’t get decluttered soon, I’ll get sicker and my husband will just throw things away instead of helping me determine what is worth saving. So,Beth, I am worth saving, not my stuff, so would love to be selected for this course.
I have so much clutter and it is definitely dragging me down. I keep most of the house pretty clean, but the toys and my office . . .ugh! I’d love to win this to help attack those areas!
I have three children and work and need some sort of balance to my life!!!
I need balance!
I would very much like to join your declutter group, to see what difference the group makes for me and my decluttering – how much my incentive grows!
As a single mom of three boys, I need to get a handle on theirs and my clutter to make me feel less like insane. 🙂
I need balance. The clutter is taking over what available space we have and our living space is getting smaller and smaller. I need someone to free me from all this stuff (and my hubby and three kids’ stuff) so that we can have a peaceful home.
I need to simplify for my own sanity (slowly going crazy from the stuff) but dont know where to start. This class would really help!
I’ve been working on decluttering for a while now, but I think I’ve reached my limit with ideas. I need more help to get rid of those sentimental items, the “what if” items, and major paper trails. I also needs ideas to declutter my life and mind. HELP!
My house is a cluttered mess. HELP!!!
I want to declutter before my entire family descends on my house in 6 weeks for a celebration. There’s no room in my house for them, let alone for their ‘stuff’! Thanks for the opportunity to get my life and house in gear!
I have just started decluttering after seeing your calendar. I haven’t stuck to the schedule but do attempt to do at least one thing a day. Today was the cupboard under the sink (with the garbage can) it was gross. Now that I started I see clutter everywhere and it’s hard to know where to start. And with a family that’s on a different page, how do I keep them clutter free as well. Help! I really want your course:)
My DH and I are boh bad with clutter and we really need to get a handle on it before we teach our 2 yo bad habits!
I need all the help I can get to be motivated to organize the clutter in my home.
I just feel like I have so much stuff but it’s so hard to get rid of it. I want space but also my stuff.
I have come to realize that I, like my Grandmother, have a “pack away” room. As a child I swore I would never have one of those and look at me now. The stuff has to go!!!!
My husband and I have made it a goal to work on decluttering our home. We know that we will be happier if we can make some meaningful strides in that area. Accountability is a very motivational tool! Thanks for letting us throw our hats in the ring!
I would like help with decluttering and getting better organized. Thanks for the chance to win.
I am a mom to 2 busy girls and wife of a husband who travels weeks at a time. I have no family to support us in our state so an organized, streamlined, simple and clutter free life is key to my survival! Thank you for your tips and ideas!
I promised my husband that when I retired, I would work on the mounds of clutter & paper, but the Master Gardener class started right after that & I had always wanted to take it. Then I meet with an art group, have to read, etc. and I am not making as much progress as was expected. I am using the Declutter Calendar, but not every day. I could use the extra push from a group. Thanks, I enjoy the calendar, tips & articles.
What a great idea! I have to much work to do to declutter our house and some extra help would be awesome!
I’m sooooo trying to get my life decluttered and when I “asked” for help to the world … I found your website! Your declutter calendar is something I’m trying to do and just taking baby steps! Would love to continue on my path of figuring out why I keep sooo much stuff!
I feel so much calmer when my house is in order, but it never stays that way. Paperwork is a disaster. I would never be able to find important papers if my life depended on it. I need help!
Since the arrival of my daughter a year ago, I have had a hard time getting my house organized and it’s all due to the unbelievable amount of “stuff” we have acquired. I need help getting through everything so I can really get organized. I need help!
I’m so glad to see I’m not alone in my clutter based on this site. I basically need help decluttering all of my stuff – papers are my biggest problem.
Thanks for making this available!
I’ll give it a good try!
I am embarrassed to even THINK of having anyone stop by unexpectedly. My children are no longer home, just a husband and puppy to keep after, but years of clutter build-up, just the thought of where to start sends me into … AAAAAAAAAAackkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!
I moved from a 3000+ square foot (4BR, 3BA) home to an 1800 sq ft 4BR/2BA apartment with my five children. We thought it would be more temporary than what it had ended up being. Then, two years later, I moved from a 4 BR/2BA apartment to a 3 BR/2 BA apartment, and have finished my degree and am putting two of the five through college. I need to declutter to find space to LIVE! I don’t have space to put things I use daily (in the “now”), because the old stuff is taking all the room. HELP!!!!!
I’m afraid my husband is a borderline hoarder!! If i don’t make some headway in decluttering our home and in psychologizing him just a little bit, i believe you will see us soon on the reality program of that name! Please let me be one to receive the giveaway spot in your Declutter Group!
Thanks for giving us the opportunity 🙂
I’ve lived in my house for 36 years—and I don’t want to leave the sorting and tossing to my children! Need to get going on decluttering big time…
